Khabib Nurmagomedov, along with his teammates and compatriots from Dagestan, has long been known for their staunch support of Palestine, driven by their conservative Muslim beliefs. Recently, following his victory over Bekzat Almakhan, Nurmagomedov's cousin, Umar, used his platform to advocate for peace in Gaza, adding his voice to the chorus of support.

However, it wasn't just Umar who addressed the issue. Khabib Nurmagomedov himself took the opportunity to speak out, directing criticism towards feminists for what he perceived as a double standard in their advocacy efforts. The former UFC lightweight champion expressed his disappointment that feminist groups remained largely silent on the plight of women and children affected by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In a statement, Nurmagomedov remarked, "Some bad things are happening in the world. All feminist groups are beginning to talk about this situation. But the same situation in Gaza - they're women too, they're not animals... Some countries keep support this...They don't have humanity."

The sentiments expressed by Nurmagomedov echoed throughout UFC Vegas 87, with fellow fighter Muhammad Mokaev also using his platform to call on the British Prime Minister to cease support for Israel. Nurmagomedov further demonstrated his solidarity with the Palestinian people by wearing a Palestinian scarf, symbolizing his unwavering support for their cause.
