UFC Ring Girls Salary: Luciana Andrade gives some insights

How much salary does a UFC Ring girl get? UFC ring girl Luciana Andrade was a guest on the MMA Hour recently and was asked this question.

There were many debates recently about the pay of ring girls in comparison to that of the UFC Fighters. Some claimed that UFC ring girls were getting more money when compared to the UFC Fighters.

Luciana, however, has shot down the claims and noted that the ring girls never get more money than the fighters.

“We have 14 girls across the globe and some girls work a few times a year because we don’t have international fights with the same frequency we have in the US. Let’s talk about the US girls, you work once, twice a month if you’re lucky. Do you really think we would be making more money than the fighters, than the broadcasters, than the commentators?,” she raised the question on the MMA Hour (h/t Asian MMA)

She also addressed the recent rumours of ring girls getting paid more than fighters.

“It’s just crazy to me that people still think that’s true. We get so much hate whenever a fighter says something like that. It’s kind of irresponsible sometimes when you do know it’s not true but you do use us as a scapegoat to create hype or clicks,” she added in the interview.

She added that she has all the respect for the fighters.

One of the fighters that raised a similar concern was Uriah Hall. He noted that fighters get $10K while ring girls get around $70K.

“You don’t have to go too much into details but I know people that are making [$10,000 to show, $10,000 to win], which is ridiculous. Cause you’re going out there and fighting and you’re putting your brain cells on the line and f–ng ring card girls are making $70,000, which is utterly f–ng ridiculous,” Hall noted in one of his interviews.
