“Who’s next?” Kape said after the fight. “You guys thought I was scared because he’s a wrestler? I can wrestle, I can stand with anyone in this division. Pantoja, Kai Kara-France, be ready. I’m gonna steal that belt like I steal candy for my daughter.”

Brundage rallies for first-round TKO in co-main event

In the co-main event, Cody Brundage and Julian Marquez engaged in a wild, back-and-forth middleweight battle that ended in the first round. Marquez appeared close to finishing the fight before Brundage mounted a comeback, scoring a TKO at 4:45 of the opening round.

Hyder Amil shines for the Philippines
