UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Murphy Results: Murphy gets dominant win

UFC Fight Night: Emmett vs. Murphy aired live in Asia on Sunday, April 6, from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, showcasing rising talent and international contenders across an action-packed card.

In the main event, undefeated featherweight Lerone Murphy (16-0) edged out veteran Josh Emmett in a close five-round battle. Ranked No. 10 heading into the fight, Murphy used superior striking and scored a knockdown in the final round to earn a unanimous decision win (48-47, 48-47, 49-46) over No. 8 Emmett.

“I just had to fight my game,” Murphy said post-fight. “Everybody knows he's got one-punch knockout power. I had to fight at a top level. I couldn't make any mistakes.”

In the co-main event, Pat Sabatini put on a dominant grappling display to defeat Joanderson Brito by unanimous decision, sweeping all three judges’ scorecards.

South Korea’s ChangHo Lee made a spectacular UFC debut with a second-round TKO victory over Cortavious Romious. The Road to UFC Season 2 bantamweight winner earned a Performance of the Night bonus for his relentless ground control and striking.

“I want to be the Korean Merab Dvalishvili: 'The Machine',” Lee said.

Also on the card, Thailand’s Loma Lookboonmee continued her rise in the strawweight division with a unanimous decision win over Istela Nunes. The Muay Thai specialist extended her win streak to four, matching the third-longest active run in the division.

The event awarded four Performance of the Night bonuses: ChangHo Lee, Ode’ Osbourne, Dione Barbosa, and Rhys McKee.
