Aspinall to Defend Heavyweight Title Against Ciryl Gane at UFC 321 in Abudhabi

UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall will face top contender Ciryl Gane in the main event of UFC 321, set for Saturday, Oct. 25 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island, the promotion announced Thursday.

UFC 321 marks the second UFC event in Abu Dhabi this year and continues the city’s tradition of hosting high-stakes MMA matchups. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 25 at 1 p.m. GST via ticketmaster.ae, with early access available on Thursday, July 24 for fans who registered in advance. Hotel packages are available at etihadarena.ae, and VIP Experience packages can be purchased through UFC’s official provider, On Location, at UFCVIP.com.

Aspinall (15-3), fighting out of Manchester, England, captured the undisputed title with a first-round knockout of Sergei Pavlovich and looks to make his first defense. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt has also earned dominant wins over Alexander Volkov, Curtis Blaydes and Andrei Arlovski.

Gane (13-2), fighting out of Paris, France, returns to action in search of reclaiming UFC gold. The former interim champion has built a reputation with technical striking and notable victories over Derrick Lewis, Tai Tuivasa and Volkov.
