The Inner Circle 42: Johan Ghazali Vs. Johan Estupinan II Booked

ONE Championship has confirmed a rematch between two of the sport’s brightest young talents. Malaysian-American sensation Johan Ghazali and Colombian striker Johan Estupinan will clash in a flyweight Muay Thai fight at The Inner Circle 42 on December 11, live from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, airing on live.onefc.com

Their first clash in January 2025 went to Estupinan, who earned a unanimous decision and moved ahead 1-0 in the rivalry. Neither man has had smooth sailing since, with both enduring ups and downs in the promotion. Now each gets the chance to rewrite the story. Ghazali can level the series, while Estupinan can take a firm grip on it.

Ghazali, 19, was the youngest contracted male fighter in ONE history. The Rentap Muaythai Gym and Superbon Training Camp product made his debut on ONE Friday Fights in 2023 and won four straight to earn a six-figure main roster contract with ONE.

The years since have been a rollercoaster, including two consecutive losses, but he rediscovered his rhythm in October with a revenge win over Diego Paez. With a 28-11 professional record and nine ONE wins, the knockout artist is still a fighter who storms out of his corner firing on all cylinders.

Estupinan, 24, carries a pioneering story of his own as the first Colombian athlete to join the ONE roster, signing in 2024. He arrived as an undefeated sensation and collected five straight impressive victories before dropping two in a row.

A win in his most recent outing steadied the ship, and he now stands at 6-2 in ONE with a 28-2 career record. Aggressive and entertaining, the Colombian is just as eager as his rival to make a statement.

Both men have the tools to become future ONE World Champions, and this matchup could prove a key checkpoint on that road. A victory would restore momentum in a flyweight Muay Thai division packed with talent. It would also signal that one of these young stars is ready to push toward title contention.
