ONE Championship will return to Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, for ONE 173: Denver on Friday, Aug. 1, featuring a Women’s Atomweight MMA World Title unification bout between Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga.
Stamp, the first three-sport World Champion in ONE history, will make her first Atomweight MMA title defense after defeating Ham Seo Hee for the vacant belt at ONE Fight Night 14. The Thai star last competed in the U.S. at ONE Fight Night 10, where she knocked out Alyse Anderson.
Zamboanga, who claimed the interim title by stopping Alyona Rassohyna at ONE Fight Night 27, will face a former training partner in Stamp as she looks to become the undisputed champion.
“I’m thrilled to announce that ONE Championship will be back at Ball Arena this August with one of our biggest events of the year,” said ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong. “Stamp Fairtex and Denice Zamboanga will step inside the Circle to unify the Women’s Atomweight MMA World Championship in a fight the entire world is waiting for.”
Stamp expressed excitement about returning to the U.S., saying, “I was blown away by the support I received from my U.S. fans at ONE Fight Night 10, and I can’t wait to put on a show for them again.”
Zamboanga called the fight a dream come true. “Representing my country on such a grand stage fills me with immense pride. I am ready to give my all and bring honor to our nation.”
ONE Championship made its U.S. debut in May 2023 and later hosted ONE 168 at Ball Arena, drawing over 10,000 fans and generating an estimated $18 million in economic impact for the Denver region.
Presale tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. MT on Friday, March 7. Corporate group inquiries can be made by emailing ticketing@onefc.com.
