BRAVE Combat Federation will return to Pakistan on August 18 with BRAVE CF 85, featuring a high-stakes Featherweight title eliminator between Omar Solomanov and Rauan Bekbolat. This matchup between two top featherweights promises to showcase elite mixed martial arts for fans in Pakistan and around the world.
The winner of this bout will earn a title shot against reigning 145-pound champion Nemat "Eagle" Abdrashitov, setting up what could be the biggest Featherweight title fight since BRAVE CF 4, when Elias Boudegzdame became the first-ever BRAVE CF world champion.
Omar Solomanov, currently on an 11-fight winning streak, is undefeated in BRAVE Combat Federation and has not lost since 2014. He moved closer to a title shot with his win over Ilyar Askhanov at BRAVE CF 71 but needs one more victory to solidify his contender status. His opponent, Rauan Bekbolat, is a former champion in the Asian regional circuit and enters BRAVE CF on a four-fight winning streak, with all wins coming by stoppage.
Both fighters are seasoned and well-rounded, with a combined 21 career victories. With a title shot against Abdrashitov at stake, both Solomanov and Bekbolat are determined to keep their winning streaks alive, making this the most significant Featherweight fight of the year in BRAVE CF.
In addition to the main event, BRAVE CF 85 will feature three India vs. Pakistan matchups, adding to the excitement of BRAVE International Combat Week. This event will be BRAVE Combat Federation's fifth of the year and the second of six events scheduled over a span of 70 days.
