UFC President Dana White has given a heart-breaking response to the death of amateur MMA fighter Shalie Lipp. The UFC president noted on Instagram about the journal notes of Shalie Lipp which he got to know through UFC fighter Lauren Murphy.

Up-and-coming Shalie Lipp, an MMA fighter, was killed in a car accident less than two weeks before her next big battle.

Lipp, 21, of Colorado, died in a two-car accident on Interstate 94 in Minnesota on Sunday morning, while riding in a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Lipp's vehicle "made contact" with a 2017 Jeep Cherokee driving eastbound on the Red River Bridge around 11.30 a.m. on Sunday. Lipp was the only occupant in the two cars who died in the disaster, with the others escape unharmed.

“She is a 21 year old amateur MMA fighter who just passed away in a car accident. She was supposed to fight on May 20th and just got home from training in Thailand. Her Mother found a journal and I guess at the end of every entry, she would write ‘Dana White will know my name,” Lauren Murphy called and told Mick Maynard the story and it broke my heart. My condolences to her family and friends,” Dana White wrote on Instagram.

Lipp, a member of the Academy of Combat Arts in Fargo, Minnesota, was slated to fight in the main event of Ignite No Mercy 11 on May 20 at the Kent Freeman Arena in Detroit Lakes

Lipp had recently returned to the United States from a training camp in Thailand, where she had been practising MMA and Muay Thai.

Yeah, I'd like to leave a comment. I'd like to say: Why don't you get REAL journalists to write your articles instead of using cheap algorithms to do so; this is not only grammatically terrible, it also is as factually opposite and incorrect as it could possibly be in the context of what really happened. i.e. The story should be about a young woman who died in a 2-car accident - indeed she was the only one who DID die - yet you contradictorily state "Lipp was the only occupant...unharmed
