Rodtang is planning to move to MMA after he conquers the kickboxing division. The Thai superstar revealed the same during his interview after ONE Fight Night 6. Rodtang secured another impressive win at ONE Fight Night 6 and is expected to return for the ONE Championship’s first card in the United States.
Speaking in his post-fight interview, Rodtang said that he is planning to get the Kickboxing Flyweight title first before he makes a move to MMA.
“I have to I want to go step by step I want to claim my title in kickboxing first and then I will go to MMA,” Rodtang said.
Rodtang had gone head-to-head with ONE Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson last year in special mixed-rules fight. The fight, however, did not end in Rodtang’s favor as he was submitted by Johnson.
Despite this, Rodtang remains optimistic and notes that his heart is what has brought him so far in his combat sports career.

“My secret is my heart is a real fighter. I am a real fighter in my heart and I go 100 every round,” he added.
One more interesting prospect in front of Rodtang is the ONE Muay Thai Open Weight Grand Prix. Rodtang notes that he will have to invite all his previous opponents into the Grand Prix.
“I have of course I have to invite every opponent that I um have been met with in order to get the the big prize,” he said.
