BRAVE CF President Mohammed Shahid, an avid admirer of Ramazan Gitinov, expresses his belief that the lightweight sensation is currently in the prime form of his life. After an illustrious and legendary career in the amateur welterweight division, Gitinov has made the transition to the professional lightweight ranks.
In only his second professional bout, Gitinov has already captured the imagination of fans worldwide with an impressive performance. He secured a victory over Abderrahman Errachidy at BRAVE CF 71 by rendering him unconscious with an arm-triangle choke in the first round.
With this win, Gitinov extends his astounding winning streak to 32 fights, with an incredible 30 victories earned during his amateur tenure. According to Mohammed Shahid, the 26-year-old fighter has reached new heights and showcases remarkable potential.
"I have never witnessed him in better physical condition. Ramazan has demonstrated that he operates on a different level. The move to lightweight suits him well since he no longer has to endure weight cuts throughout the week, as he did during IMMAF tournaments. I firmly believe that the sky is the limit for him, and he is already among the top 5 fighters in any promotion," Shahid praised.
During his amateur career in mixed martial arts, Gitinov was renowned for his exceptional performances. Competing in tournaments under the IMMAF banner, he would often participate in three to four fights per week, honing his skills and preparing for a successful transition to the professional realm.
Under the IMMAF umbrella, Gitinov achieved remarkable feats, solidifying his status as the world's number one pound-for-pound amateur fighter. His accolades include three world championships, a total of seven gold medals, and he is widely regarded as the greatest amateur fighter in the history of mixed martial arts.
