Indian MMA Fighter Punyajit Likharu to fight Gab Masancay in Bali

Indian MMA Fighter Punyajit Likharu is set to be in action at Island Fighters League on April 21, 2023. Puyajit will be going up against Gab Masancay of The Philippines at the event and the fight will happen at 61 KG.

Punyajit, who will be fighting out of Soma Fight Club in Indonesia, will be looking to continue his impressive run in the professional MMA circuit. The Indian fighter is currently undefeated with a professional MMA record of 3-0 to his name.

He was last seen competing at Matrix Fight Night and had secured a win over Dorde Stojanovic. Prior to this, Punyajit secured wins over Anthony Syiem and Mayank Kohli at Matrix Fight Night 6 and Matrix Fight Night 3 respectively.

Punyajit was scheduled to fight Chaitanya Gavali at MFN 11 but the fight did not go through. Interestingly, this will not be the first time that Punyajit will be competing internationally as he had already competed internationally during his amateur career.

Masancay, meanwhile, is 0-1 as per tapology. He fought at Cage Gladiators previously where he suffered a unanimous decision loss.

The Fight card will have a string of other exciting fights as well. Arjay Ortega Bongala will fight Nabaey Ariana. Nauris Bartoska will be fighting Elias Duran. John Brewin will be going up against Reydon Romero as well.

The event will happen at the Finns Recreation Club in Canggu, Bali in Indonesia.
