India’s Puja Tomar backs Suchika Tariyal ahead of BRAVE CF 104 clash in Serbia

India’s UFC fighter Puja Tomar is in Serbia to support compatriot Suchika Tariyal, who is set to compete at BRAVE CF 104 on Feb. 15.

Tariyal will face Poland’s Kinga Jendrasik in a women’s strawweight bout scheduled to open the fight card in Belgrade.

The 2-0 professional is regarded as one of India’s most promising female mixed martial artists. Before transitioning to MMA, Tariyal built an accomplished grappling career. She is an eight-time national judo champion in India and has won gold medals at the Commonwealth and South Asia Games. She also captured gold at the 2024 JJIF Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championship.

Tomar’s presence in Belgrade underscores the growing profile of Indian women in international MMA. With support from one of the country’s most recognized fighters, Tariyal will look to extend her unbeaten record and make a statement on the BRAVE CF stage.
