Two-sport ONE World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai has identified specific weaknesses in Jonathan Di Bella's game that he plans to exploit when they collide in the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Championship unification bout at ONE Fight Night 36 on 4 October in Bangkok, Thailand.
The 30-year-old Thai defeated the 29-year-old Italian-Canadian via unanimous decision for the vacant title in June 2024, and now the pair meet again with both men holding championship gold.
Prajanchai currently has both the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai and Kickboxing World Championships with a 7-1 ONE record and 344 career victories. He successfully defended his Muay Thai crown against Ellis Badr Barboza via fourth-round TKO in February 2025.
The two-sport king has analyzed his opponent's fighting style extensively ahead of their rematch and sees limited diversity in Di Bella's offensive approach.
"I don't think he has much to offer besides his speed. His combination is just a one-two followed by a low kick or a one-two to the body blow. But in this fight, we don't know what he'll add. I've definitely added some new weapons," Prajanchai stated.
The Thai ruler identifies both the strength and weakness in Di Bella's aggressive approach.
"For me, Di Bella's strength is his aggression. His weakness is that he can't do anything if he doesn't walk forward. I want to end this fight quickly," he explained.
Di Bella enters with momentum after defeating legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in March 2025, extending his winning streak to two fights. The Montreal-based fighter holds a 4-1 promotional and 14-1 overall striking record.
Despite the five-round championship bout, Prajanchai feels he's operating at peak physical condition and welcomes extended warfare.
"I want to trade with him. Whether it's punches or anything else. My body feels like it can fight for 12 or 15 rounds right now. Five rounds are not enough," the confident champion declared.
ONE Fight Night 36 will be broadcast live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Select 2 at 6:30 a.m. IST on Saturday, 4 October.
