Power Slap 5: Full Card and Preview for the event

Power Slap, the groundbreaking slap-fighting sensation, has officially unveiled its fifth live event, aptly named POWER SLAP 5: DA CRAZY HAWAIIAN VS. VAKAMEILALO. Presented by Monster Energy, the event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 25th, at the prestigious UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Power Slap 5 kicks off at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT and will be globally accessible for free on the Rumble platform. Available across various devices, including desktop, mobile, and web at www.rumble.com, as well as on iOS, Android, Roku, AppleTV, FireTV, Google TV, Samsung TV, and LG TV (https://rumble.com/our-apps).

The much-anticipated main event features the historic clash for the inaugural Power Slap Super Heavyweight title between #2 ranked Da Crazy Hawaiian (2-0 in Power Slap, hailing from Waianae, Hawaii) and Kalani “Toko” Vakameilalo (1-0, 1 KO, fighting out of Waianae, Hawaii). Weighing in at nearly 800 pounds combined, both fighters are poised to etch their names in Power Slap history by vying for the first-ever Super Heavyweight championship.

In the co-main event, The Bell (2-0 in Power Slap, 1 KO, fighting out of Ruskin, Florida) returns to defend his Heavyweight title against the formidable #1 ranked Heavyweight Nate “The Buffalo Soldier” Burnard (2-0 in Power Slap, 2 KOs, representing Buffalo, New York).

Wolverine (2-1 in Power Slap, 1 KO, fighting out of Mountain Home, Arkansas), a two-time Power Slap champion and slap fighting pioneer, will put his Light Heavyweight title on the line against the impressive Power Slap star Austin “Turp Daddy Slim” Turpin (4-0, 3 KOs, fighting out of Jacksonville, Florida).

Meanwhile, dominant Middleweight Champion John “The Machine” Davis (5-1, 2 KOs, fighting out of Salem, Ohio) returns for his second title defense and a rematch against the surging #1 ranked Middleweight Azael “El Perro” Rodriguez (5-1, 2 KOs, fighting out of San Ysidro, California).

The complete Power Slap 5 card includes electrifying matchups such as Vern “The Mechanic” Cathey vs. Bear Bennett in the Light Heavyweight category, Wesley “All the Smoke” Drain vs. Travis “Tenacious” Aragon in Middleweight, Waylon “Ice Cold” Frost vs. Andrew Provost in Welterweight, and Ryan “The King of Kings” Phillips vs. Darius “The Destroyer” Mata-Varona in Heavyweight, among others.

Winners of the coin toss conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on October 4th, 2023, include Cathey, Aragon, Frost, Mata-Varona, Rodriguez, Turpin, Dibbell, and Da Crazy Hawaiian.

The live action will be called by the dynamic duo of Dan Hellie and former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping. Reporting duties will be handled by Charly Arnolt, with Justin Bernard serving as the ring announcer. Power Slap Welterweight Champion K.O. Chris Thomas and #1 ranked Power Slap Welterweight Emanuel “No Love” Muniz will step in as coaches, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
