PFL MENA: India’s Harsh Pandya suffers decision loss to Malik Basahel

Indian MMA fighter Harsh Pandya suffered a decision loss to Malik Basahel at PFL MENA which happened in Riyadh on May 10.

Harsh Pandya, who became the third Indian fighter to compete in PFL and the first Indian fighter to compete at PFL MENA put on a solid performance against his Saudi Arabian opponent in the fight which went the complete distance of three rounds.

While Basahel had the slight upper hand in the first-round, Harsh staged a great comeback in the rounds that followed and almost got a finish in the third round as well where he got the back of Basahel. In the end, the judges’ scored the fight in favor of Basahel who extending his winning run in PFL.

In the main event, Abdullah Al-Qahtani put on a show for his hometown fans as he battered Yazeed Hasanain of Jordan en route to a verbal submission win, earning himself a spot in the PFL MENA Featherweight Semifinals.
