The Professional Fighters League (PFL) MENA division is set for an explosive start with the inaugural season featuring Bantamweight and Featherweight showdowns among top regional talents. Among the highlights leading up to the event, India's Harsh Pandya has successfully made weight for his eagerly awaited fight against Malik Basahel.

Pandya, weighing in at 125.0 pounds, met the required weight limit, setting the stage for a thrilling encounter against Basahel, who weighed in at 125.4 pounds. This matchup is anticipated to be a key attraction during the PFL MENA debut event, showcasing the diverse and dynamic talent pool within the league.

A seasoned competitor with international experience, Pandya has represented India on prestigious platforms, including the GAMMA World Championship, where he clinched bronze medal for his country.

Pandya's inclusion marks a significant milestone, as he becomes the third Indian fighter to step into the PFL arena, following the paths of Vikas Singh Ruhil and Edukondal Rao.

Malik Basahel arrives with a strong amateur pedigree, having showcased his talents in numerous International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) Championships. Basahel also notably competed on the PFL vs. Bellator fight card earlier this year, highlighting his readiness to take on the challenges.

The main event of the night will see Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al-Qahtani taking on Jordan’s Yazeed Hasanain following Taha Bendaoud's failure to meet the contracted weight. Al-Qahtani, coming in at 145.6 pounds, will face Hasanain, who weighed in at 146.6 pounds, in what promises to be a fiercely competitive clash.
