PFL MENA Results: El Dafrawy Submits Miceli in First Round

The PFL MENA season continued its momentum in Riyadh as Welterweight Champion Omar El Dafrawy headlined an action-packed night at The Green Halls, delivering a stunning first-round submission win over Italy’s Daniele Miceli. The event marked the end of the quarterfinal stage, with the Semifinal brackets now locked in for both the Welterweight and Bantamweight tournaments.

In the main event, Egypt’s El Dafrawy (14-5) weathered an early takedown before locking in a tight triangle choke, forcing Miceli (13-7, 1 NC) to tap at just 1:15 of Round 1 in a Welterweight Showcase bout.

Saudi Arabia’s rising star Hattan Alsaif (4-0 AM) earned another impressive victory in front of a hometown crowd, stopping Tunisia’s Nour Al Fliti (1-2 AM) by TKO in Round 2 of their amateur Atomweight bout.

The tournament picture became clearer as Mohammad Alaqraa, Mohamed Zarey, Badreddine Diani, and Amir Fazli advanced in the Welterweight division, while Xavier Alaoui, Mokhtar Benkaci, Nawras Abzakh, and Islam Youssef secured their places in the Bantamweight Semifinals.

In a standout undercard moment, Abdelrahman Alhyasat (6-0) remained undefeated with a second-round rear naked choke victory in his Lightweight Showcase fight.
