ONE Championship has revealed the main event for ONE Fight Night 44. Thai veteran Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong and George Jarvis will settle their score in a lightweight Muay Thai rematch, airing live on June 26.
Their first encounter at ONE Friday Fights 85 in 2024 left little room for debate. Jarvis overwhelmed his experienced Thai rival with relentless strikes before putting an end to the contest in round three via knockout, a result that earned the English star a US$100,000 contract.
Now, both men arrive at this rematch carrying vastly different stories since that night.
Rungrawee, 30, is one of the most battle-hardened veterans in the lightweight Muay Thai division. The Sitsongpeenong product carries a remarkable 158-49 career record with 50 finishes and a 6-3 ONE record into the rematch.
His leg kicks have earned him the "Legatron" moniker and the respect of the entire division. After the loss to Jarvis, the Thai veteran bounced back with a dominant decision win, a performance impressive enough to earn him a ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Championship shot against Regian Eersel at The Inner Circle on April 10.
He pushed the titleholder hard across five rounds before falling short via decision, proving that he belongs among the very best at this level.
Jarvis, 25, has been on a similar journey. The Lumpini Crawley product carries a 28-5 pro record and five ONE wins into the bout.
After suffering a split-decision loss on his ONE debut, he reeled off four consecutive victories against top-tier opposition to earn his own crack at Eersel's lightweight Muay Thai throne in August 2025.
That title shot did not go his way, but the Englishman refused to let the setback derail his momentum. Earlier this year, he returned with a win over Sinsamut Klinmee, reminding the division exactly what his technical brilliance and high fight IQ are capable of.
Another win over Rungrawee could push him firmly back into title contention.
