ONE Fight Night 40: Buntan Vs. Hemetsberger II Set For 14 February In Bangkok

ONE Championship has confirmed the headliner for ONE Fight Night 40, featuring ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Champion Jackie Buntan, who puts her title on the line against division’s Muay Thai champion Stella Hemetsberger on 14 February 2026.

This showdown marks the second meeting between these elite strikers, who previously clashed this past September at ONE Fight Night 35 for the vacant ONE Women's Strawweight Muay Thai World Championship.

That epic five-round battle saw Hemetsberger capture victory and claim the title, making her Austria's first-ever ONE World Champion.

The 26-year-old Austrian now stands on the brink of even greater history.

By challenging for Buntan's kickboxing belt, Hemetsberger aims to become her country's first-ever two-sport ONE World Champion. She enters with an unblemished 4-0 promotional record and a 9-1 overall mark.

For the 28-year-old Buntan, this represents an opportunity for revenge after coming up short in their initial meeting.

The Filipino-American superstar has compiled a 7-2 promotional record and 27-7 professional striking mark since arriving in 2021.

While she has twice been denied Muay Thai championship glory, Buntan reigns as the kickboxing queen and now defends her crown against the only woman to defeat her recently.

Additionally, MMA fighter Adrian Lee makes his return to action against Japan's Shozo Isojima in a lightweight MMA bout.

The 19-year-old Singapore-American sensation exploded onto the scene with three consecutive submission wins beginning in June 2024.

His meteoric rise hit a roadblock in September 2025 when he challenged ONE Welterweight Submission Grappling World Champion Tye Ruotolo in Ruotolo's MMA debut. The youngest Lee family member tapped to a rear-naked choke in round two, experiencing defeat for the first time in his young career.

Lee now looks to return to winning ways against 28-year-old Isojima from NTRUST, who holds a 6-1 career record. Interestingly, Isojima's most recent defeat also came via rear-naked choke submission against Tye Ruotolo, meaning both fighters share the experience of falling to the same opponent and submission technique.
