Baatarkhuu Completes Mongolian Dream With Submission win at ONE Fight Night 38

Mongolia celebrated its second ONE MMA World Champion on Friday, 5 December, when Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu strangled Fabricio Andrade unconscious with a fourth-round rear-naked choke at ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video inside Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

The 36-year-old grappling specialist vindicated years of sacrifice, proving his suffocating wrestling could neutralise Brazil's most dangerous bantamweight striker whilst following the championship blueprint established by his legendary mentor Narantungalag Jadambaa.

Round four belonged entirely to Baatarkhuu. He trapped Andrade against the ropes, secured the takedown, then rained down devastating punches and elbows that forced defensive mistakes, ultimately exposing the Brazilian's neck for the match-ending rear-naked choke at 1:33.

Brazilian phenom Diogo "Baby Shark" Reis claimed the vacant ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Title, overwhelming Daiki Yonekura with non-stop offensive pressure that accumulated points across 10 exhausting minutes of high-level grappling exchanges.

The 23-year-old ADD World Champion controlled positions throughout, passing Yonekura's guard multiple times whilst threatening arm-triangle chokes and leg entanglements that kept the Japanese contender perpetually defending rather than attacking.

Reis walked away with unanimous decision and his first ONE Championship gold, pushing his remarkable career record to 94-12 whilst establishing himself as the flyweight submission grappling division's undisputed king.

Aliff Sor Dechapan earned his championship opportunity by dismantling Ramadan Ondash across three punishing rounds, claiming unanimous decision in the strawweight Muay Thai eliminator that books his date with divisional king Prajanchai PK Saenchai.

Round three sealed Ondash's fate when Aliff launched a devastating jumping left knee that crashed into the Lebanese striker's jaw, dropping him heavily for an eight-count that confirmed the Thai-Malaysian sensation's dominance.
