Two High-Stakes World Title Fights Locked In for ONE Fight Night 38 In December

ONE Championship's year-end schedule continues with ONE Fight Night 38 on 6 December in Bangkok, Thailand, where a seasoned Mongolian challenger aims to dethrone one of the promotion's most dominant champions.

Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu will face his career-defining moment when he challenges ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio Andrade in the main event.

The 36-year-old Mongolian brings a wealth of experience and finishing ability to this title shot, holding a 6-1 ONE Championship record with four stoppages victories. Baatarkhuu earned this opportunity through impressive wins over Carlo Bumina-ang, Aaron Canarte, and Jeremy Pacatiw in recent matches.

However, he faces perhaps the division's most dangerous champion in the 27-year-old Brazilian. Andrade has been perfect through seven ONE Championship MMA bouts, capturing the title with a fourth-round TKO demolition of John Lineker in 2023.

The Tiger Muay Thai representative's most recent defense showcased his devastating power when he finished Kwon Won Il in a blistering 42 seconds at ONE 170 this year. Despite falling short in his November 2023 challenge for the ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship against Jonathan Haggerty, Andrade seeks to further cement his legacy as one of the promotion's hardest hitters.

The co-main event will create a new champion as Brazilian sensation Diogo Reis meets Japan's Daiki Yonekura for the vacant ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Championship.

At 23 years old, the Sao Paulo-based Reis carries impressive credentials as a BJJ black belt and two-time ADCC World Champion. His promotional debut saw him submit Shoya Ishiguro with a kimura lock, announcing his arrival in spectacular fashion.

Yonekura represents Japan's grappling excellence as a black belt and 2024 IBJJF Pan Pacific Champion, ensuring the vacant title will be claimed by a worthy champion.

ONE Fight Night 38 delivers championship action across striking and grappling disciplines as December approaches, with established dominance meeting hungry challengers in Bangkok's combat sports capital.
