ONE Fight Night 37 Results: Agdeve Stuns Kryklia For Heavyweight Gold

Seven years of perfection ended in Bangkok as ONE Fight Night 37 produced one of 2025's biggest upsets. The November 7 Prime Video event crowned an unexpected heavyweight kickboxing champion.

Samet "The King" Agdeve captured the inaugural ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship by outpointing Roman Kryklia over five rounds. The Turkish newcomer destroyed the Ukrainian legend's seven-year unbeaten streak in his promotional debut.

Agdeve refused to respect Kryklia's legendary power, weathering early bombs and firing back with calculated calf kicks. Those low attacks transformed Kryklia's left leg into a grotesque balloon that robbed him of speed and power.

Kryklia battled back in the third frame despite severe leg damage, landing straight punches that bruised Agdeve's face. The champion's toughness showed as he fought effectively while essentially standing on one leg.

Rounds four and five belonged completely to Agdeve. The 21-year-old, fighting for his hospitalized mother, battered Kryklia with heavy hands and brutal kicks that finally broke the giant's resistance.

Overhand rights and left hooks staggered Kryklia late. Judges scored it unanimously for Agdeve, who moved to 18-0 while capturing gold and announcing himself as kickboxing's newest elite threat.

Nico "King of the North" Carrillo battered Luke "The Chef" Lessei into a second-round stoppage in the featherweight Muay Thai co-main event. The #4-ranked Scotsman reinforced his status as a top contender.

Lessei's low kicks troubled Carrillo initially, landing with frequency and accuracy. But everything shifted when Carrillo connected cleanly with a punch-knee sequence that floored the American for the opening frame's only knockdown.

The second round became target practice. Carrillo trapped Lessei along the ropes and unloaded everything — body shots, head punches, crushing knees — with zero defensive concern or mercy shown.

After absorbing six knees plus three uppercuts without answering back, Lessei's night ended at 2:35 of round two. Carrillo's 29-4 record now screams title shot against featherweight king Tawanchai PK Saenchai.
