ONE Fight Night 36 Preview: Two-Sport King Faces Toughest Test

World Championship destiny awaits when ONE Championship returns to Bangkok, Thailand, for a blockbuster martial arts spectacle on 4 October.

ONE Fight Night 36 delivers nine thrilling Muay Thai, kickboxing, MMA, and submission grappling contests that could reshape multiple divisions, culminating in a title unification bout between two of the finest strikers.

Two-sport king Prajanchai PK Saenchai puts his ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title on the line against interim champion Jonathan Di Bella in a rematch that has been 16 months in the making.

The Italian-Canadian challenger seeks redemption after their controversial first meeting in June 2024, where judges awarded Prajanchai a unanimous decision victory despite many observers believing Di Bella had done enough to win.

Since that heartbreaking defeat, Di Bella has dominated his path back to gold. He derailed surging contender Rui Botelho's momentum last December before claiming the interim title with a masterful performance against legendary Sam-A Gaiyanghadao in March.

Meanwhile, Prajanchai has defended his ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title with a spectacular knockout of Ellis Badr Barboza, proving his two-sport dominance. Now, both warriors meet again to determine the undisputed strawweight kickboxing king.

Beyond the title unification, ONE Fight Night 36 marks the emotional swan song of Myanmar icon Aung La N Sang. After two decades of competition, the former two-division ONE World Champion hangs up his 4-ounce gloves following one final battle against friend and former ONE Welterweight MMA World Champion Zebaztian Kadestam in a middleweight clash expected to deliver fireworks.
