ONE Championship continues to build anticipation for ONE Fight Night 33, scheduled for 12 July, with the addition of five compelling matchups that promise to deliver fireworks across multiple disciplines.
The headlining addition features #4-ranked featherweight contender Ilya Freymanov welcoming undefeated newcomer Pedro Dantas in what could be a star-making opportunity for the Brazilian.
Freymanov, 29, made waves with spectacular first-round finishes in his initial ONE appearances before falling short against former champion Thanh Le in his title bid. Now he faces the 22-year-old Dantas, who brings a perfect 6-0 record with a 100 percent finishing rate through both submissions and TKOs.
The Muay Thai action heats up with Russian striker Vladimir Kuzmin facing Irish standout Stefan Korodi in bantamweight competition. Kuzmin enters following a decision loss to Suablack Tor Pran49, while Korodi looks to build on his recent victory over decorated veteran Katsuki Kitano after starting his ONE tenure with back-to-back defeats.
In women's MMA, former Shooto Champion Chihiro Sawada aims to bounce back from her first career loss when she meets Argentina's Macarena Aragon at atomweight. Sawada holds the #5 ranking despite her recent setback to Meng Bo, while the 22-year-old Aragon seeks to establish herself as a legitimate contender following her dominant performance against Jihin Radzuan at ONE Fight Night 30.
The grappling world will be represented through a welterweight submission contest between Australia's Izaak Michell and Francisco "Chico" Lo. Both competitors enter seeking redemption after suffering submission losses to the Ruotolo twins in their respective ONE debuts.
Rounding out the additions, Filipino phenom Jhanlo Mark Sangiao faces Mongolian striker Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg in bantamweight MMA action.
