ONE Fight Night 15 Results: Thanh Le Submits Ilya Freymanov to Win Interim Title

ONE Championship (ONE) brought the electrifying action back to the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium with an exceptional fight card at ONE Fight Night 15: Le vs. Freymanov.

The event showcased two enthralling World Title clashes, featuring a battle for the ONE Interim Featherweight MMA World Title and a showdown for the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.

The main event witnessed the former undisputed featherweight MMA champion, Thanh Le, swiftly securing the ONE Interim Featherweight MMA World Championship by dispatching the #3-ranked contender, Ilya Freymanov. Le's underrated grappling skills played a crucial role as he expertly countered Freymanov's takedown attempt. The Vietnamese-American executed a seamless leg entanglement, swiftly securing a heel hook that forced Freymanov to tap just over a minute into the first round.

After the impressive victory, Le wasted no time, meeting the reigning ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion, Tang Kai, at the center of the ring. This sets the stage for a highly anticipated World Title unification rematch.

In the co-main event, the unbeaten Jonathan Di Bella successfully defended the ONE Strawweight Kickboxing World Title with a dominant five-round performance against Danial Williams. Di Bella's superior skills were on full display as he strategically outclassed his opponent in every exchange, earning a well-deserved unanimous decision victory.

The night also featured a spectacular featherweight kickboxing bout, where ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai secured a significant win over the resilient "Smokin" Jo Nattawut. Despite Nattawut's valiant effort, Tawanchai's relentless forward pressure and powerful shots earned him a unanimous decision victory.

In an openweight submission grappling contest, Mikey Musumeci overcame food poisoning to defeat Japanese martial arts icon and former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Shinya Aoki. The reigning ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Champion displayed a near-flawless performance, forcing "Tobikan Judan" to tap out with a painful heel hook. Musumeci's victory extended his unbeaten streak in ONE Championship.
