Following a historic sold-out debut in Cape Town, the Professional Fighters League has unveiled the full fight card for its second event of the inaugural PFL Africa season, set for Saturday, Aug. 9, at the Big Top Arena, Carnival City in Johannesburg.
The Johannesburg event will feature top Featherweights and Welterweights from across the continent battling in first-round bouts as they look to secure spots in the PFL Africa Semifinals.
The main event features a Featherweight clash between Nigeria’s Patrick Ocheme (6-1) and Guinea’s Mohamed Camara (5-2-1). In the co-main event, Angola’s Shido Boris Esperanca (9-1) meets Gambia’s Ibrahima Mané (14-5) in a Welterweight first-round matchup.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. SAST / 12:00 p.m. ET and will be broadcast across Africa on SuperSport (English) and Canal+ (French). Viewers in the United States can stream the event live on the PFL App.
