Matrix Fight Night 10 Results: Four New MFN Champions crowned at the event

Four new champions were crowned at Matrix Fight Night 10 (MFN 10) in Dubai. The event, which happened on 18 November 2022, saw the promotion crown inaugural champions in Strawweight, Flyweight, Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions.

Puja Tomar stops Bi Nguyen, Angad Bisht submits Gamal

In the opening bout of the card, Indian MMA star Puja Tomar got the better of Bi Nguyen. Puja stopped Nguyen in the second round to win the Inaugural MFN Women’s Strawweight title. Elsewhere, Angad Bisht secured a submission win over Mohammed Gamal of Egypt to win the MFN Flyweight title.

Uloomi Karim Knocks out Dhruv, Sanjeet wins Featherweight title

The much-awaited India vs. Pakistan fight between Uloomi Karim and Dhruv Chaudhary ended in favor of the Pakistan MMA star. Uloomi had a strong performance in the fight and managed to knock out Dhruv Chaudhary to become the inaugural MFN Bantamweight champion.

In the main event of the night, Sanjeet Budhwar produced a memorable performance against Kyrgyzstan’s Atabek Abdimitalipov to win the MFN Featherweight title. Sanjeet and Atabek went the complete distance and were cautious throughout the fight. However, it was the aggression and cage control of Sanjeet that proved to be the difference as the judges ruled in his favor after the five rounds.

Fighters on the undercard shine

Punyajit Likharu added another win to his resume at MFN 10 when he edged out Djorde Stojanovic. Dinesh Naorem, on the other hand, made a statement when he stopped Arsenba Ozukum. This was the promotional debut of Dinesh and he made sure that everyone took notice.

Digamber Singh Rawat and Avizo Lanamai continued their impressive runs in MFN and picked up wins in the undercard against Akib Ali and Dushyant Singh respectively. Meanwhile, teammates Shyamanand and Clinton D Cruz produced finishes.

Priya Sharma outclassed Jojo Rajkumari in a strawweight bout and secured her first win on the MFN platform. You can see the complete results from MFN 10 below.
