Matrix Fight Night has announced a huge broadcast deal with Disney Hotstar Plus. Though the details of the deal were yet to be revealed by the parties, the MFN content is already available on the streaming platform for the viewers to enjoy.
Prior to the deal with Disney Hotstar Plus, Matrix Fight Night was streamed on the official social media channels of MFN. The promotion also had a deal with BookMyShow at one point through which the shows were streamed on the ticketing platform for a pay-per-view price.
Headed by former Indian MMA fighter Alan Fenandes and the Shroff Family, Matrix Fight Night has so far held nine events. In its three years of existence, the promotion has managed to become the benchmark for MMA events in India and has been met with warm hands by the Indian MMA community.
The promotion rolled out its first event in Mumbai on March 12, 2019, and two months later, hosted Matrix Fight Night 2 in Delhi.
The team made their international debut with Matrix Fight Night 4 in Dubai and subsequently hosted Matrix Fight Night 5 and Matrix Fight Night 6 in Dubai as well. MFN 7 happened in Hyderabad in 2021 followed by MFN 8 and MFN 9 in Delhi. The events of Matrix Fight Night are sanctioned by the All India Mixed Martial Arts Association (AIMMAA) under the lineage of GAMMAF.
