UFC lightweight contender Bobby Green has recently disclosed a surprising encounter involving himself and MMA fighter Antonio Trocoli, the husband of UFC star Mackenzie Dern. In a candid video posted on his Instagram story, Green recounted the incident, which began with a seemingly innocuous interaction during Dern's weigh-in for UFC 298.
Green explained that his comments during Dern's weigh-in appearance prompted a direct message from Dern herself, expressing gratitude for his support. However, as their conversation progressed, Green admitted to engaging in flirtatious banter with Dern, unaware of her marital status at the time. According to Green, Dern eventually provided him with a phone number, suggesting they continue their conversation via text.
Initially receptive to the idea, Green claimed that the individual on the other end of the messages appeared eager to meet in person, a proposition he was unable to entertain due to prior commitments. Upon his return from a trip to Mexico, Green reached out to the provided number once again, only to discover that he had been communicating with Dern's husband all along.
Reflecting on the encounter, Green expressed a sense of suspicion, questioning the motives behind the interaction and suggesting a potential setup. Despite the revelation, neither Trocoli nor Dern has issued any response to Green's allegations at the time of reporting.
Trocoli's history with the UFC has been marred by setbacks, including a contract revocation following a positive drug test for anabolic steroids after securing a contract on Dana White's Contender Series in 2019. Additionally, visa issues prevented Trocoli from making his UFC debut against Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 282.

Trocoli's relationship with Dern has also attracted attention, particularly following Dern's separation from her ex-husband Wesley Santos, with whom she shares a child. Both parties have levied accusations of domestic violence against each other, adding further complexity to their personal lives.
