Former BRAVE CF Lightweight champion Lucas Martins is poised to reenter the electrifying realm of BRAVE CF after an absence of over a year, and his resurgence is accompanied by resounding aspirations within the global MMA landscape.

In a recent social media revelation, the Brazilian fighter directed his intentions toward the undisputed champion, Abdisalam “Omok” Kubanychbek, setting the stage for a potential showdown. All eyes are now fixed on Martins as he prepares to square off against France’s Ylies Djiroun in the main event of BRAVE CF 74, set to unfold on September 7 in Nantes, France, presented in partnership with the distinguished regional powerhouse Hexagone MMA.

Martins emerges from a hiatus, poised to grace the fastest-growing MMA platform once again. His last appearance culminated in a knockout victory over fellow Brazilian Henrique Marques during their BRAVE CF 60 clash in Isa Town, Bahrain, in July of the preceding year. Now, the Brazilian luminary steps into the spotlight once more, aiming to navigate past Djiroun with precision and speed.

The grand vision for Martins extends beyond his immediate bout; his gaze is locked on a swift turnaround within the 155-pound division. As the sands of time race toward November, he envisions himself entering the realm of Kyrgyzstan’s inaugural BRAVE CF champion, poised to script his own chapter of championship glory.

“I know there is a champion waiting, and I don’t want to wait that long for my next fight as it’s been a year since I last fought. So if I win this fight, I want to fight for the title again soon,” said Martins, better known as “Mineiro”. “I believe BRAVE Combat Federation plans to host a big event in Bahrain in November again, so after this fight, I will come back home to Brazil and get right back into training and prepare for the championship. I might not know how to say his name properly, I think it’s Kubanych or Kubanychbek … is that right?"

“Regardless, make no mistake, I have respect for him, he is a great fighter, but he has not been tested like I have before, nor has he faced someone like me yet. I am the biggest challenge of his career," says "Mineiro ".

“BRAVE Combat Federation knows that if I win this fight, I have to fight for the belt and get the title once again,” concluded Martins.
