The super welterweight division in BRAVE Combat Federation continues to heat up as Alex “Da Killa King” Lohoré dismissed rising contender Eliezer “King Kong” Kubanza in a fiery video released Thursday on BRAVE CF’s official Instagram.

“Does he have followers? Do people know him around the world?” Lohoré said. “I only want big fights. That fight is not a big fight.”

The Ivory Coast native (25-11) has quickly made waves in BRAVE CF with two first-round finishes since joining the promotion. He returns to action this Saturday, May 17, at BRAVE CF 94 in Geneva, where he faces Mansur Abdurzakov in his third appearance.

Still, Kubanza’s presence looms. The undefeated Congolese standout (7-0) has long called for a fight with Lohoré, believing it would be a historic all-African clash. Kubanza, who claimed the No. 1 contender spot with a win at BRAVE CF 91, is rumored to attend Saturday’s event.

Lohoré has repeatedly shrugged off the callout. “Eagles don’t fly with pigeons,” he said when asked about Kubanza, adding that he would only consider the matchup if a title were on the line.

With Luiz Cado holding the division’s belt, Lohoré’s performance at BRAVE CF 94 could force BRAVE CF into a decision: a title shot or an all-African superfight.
