KSI just got a knockout via elbow in a boxing match.

The main event of Misfits Boxing 7, which took place at London's OVO Arena Wembley, was won by the Misfits Boxing founder on Saturday, who scored one of the most savage moments of his brief boxing career by knocking out Fournier with a vicious second-round sequence.

With his hands down and in a wide stance, KSI first dropped Fournier with a powerful overhand right before ending the fight with what initially seemed like a short right hand but was actually a forearm or elbow strike.

The official stoppage, however, occurred at 1:25 into the second round.

“I knew fighting the promoter there would be every angle in his favour but to call this a KO instead of a disqualification after an intentional elbow is disgusting!!!. We will be appealing this decision Monday and I hope both [KSI and Misfits Boxing and Professional Boxing Association] do the right thing and show their integrity to the sport of boxing!!,” Fournier wrote on Instagram.

The Professional Boxing Association, a third-party sanctioning body based in the UK, was in charge of overseeing the event, as Fournier pointed out.

The KSI vs. Fournier fight was billed as an exhibition for the cruiserweight title held by KSI by Misfits Boxing. Following the victory, KSI challenged Tommy Fury in the ring, almost starting a brawl before officials broke it up.

Combat sports veterans as well as KSI's opponent Jake Paul publicly questioned his knockout victory, writing on Twitter that the match should be declared a no-contest or a disqualification.
