The epic trilogy between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano concluded in front of a sold-out Madison Square Garden and nearly 6 million average global viewers, making it the most-watched women’s sporting event of 2025, according to viewership data from VideoAmp and Netflix.
The main event drew an average minute audience (AMA) of 5.9 million viewers globally, with 4.2 million tuning in from the United States alone. The event ranked No. 1 in U.S., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand, and reached the Top 10 in 43 other countries, according to Netflix.
The event, which streamed live exclusively on Netflix, featured an all-women’s boxing card with 17 championship bouts, setting a record for most titles decided in a single night. The card took place at a packed Madison Square Garden, with 19,721 fans in attendance and a live gate of $2.63 million.
Although the trilogy bout’s viewership did not surpass the staggering numbers from their second encounter—Taylor vs. Serrano 2 served as the co-main event to Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson in November, which delivered 47 million AMA in the U.S. and 74 million global live viewers—the final chapter still stood as a major milestone for women's sports.
When the dust settled, Taylor secured a majority decision victory, improving her record to 3-0 against Serrano and closing out one of the most celebrated rivalries in modern boxing history.
The Taylor vs. Serrano trilogy has helped redefine women's boxing on the global stage, and the third installment added yet another milestone in the sport’s evolution.
