Former UFC champion Jose Aldo feels that Charles Oliveira has what it takes to stop Islam Makhachev. Speaking to Canal Encarada’s Luis Coutinho recently, The Brazilian legend noted that Oliveira has matured over time and that he is mentally strong and motivated.
“He is a guy that rises from the ashes and wins the fight. I have seen him change and gain the maturation of a champion over time. He is mentally strong today and motivated. Charles Oliveira is a guy that I root for a lot. If I were to bet my money, I will bet on Charles,” Aldo noted.
Aldo was also asked about the recent trash talk from Khabib Nurmagomedov but Aldo insisted that he has always shown respect towards Khabib.
