The Explosive Colombian Johan Estupinan Unleashes Devastating Hunt Against The Japanese Veteran Taiki Naito

Colombian striking sensation Johan Estupinan is set to bring his explosive style back to Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium when he faces Japanese veteran Taiki Naito in a high-stakes flyweight Muay Thai clash at ONE Fight Night 32, airing live on Saturday, 7 June.

The 22-year-old enters the bout with an unblemished 27-0 professional record, having delivered five consecutive victories since making his promotional debut in May 2024. His impressive run includes three spectacular stoppages, establishing him as one of the most feared finishers in the flyweight division.

Standing opposite him will be the crafty Naito, who is currently ranked #3 in the flyweight kickboxing standings and regarded as one of ONE Championship's most experienced competitors.

True to his aggressive approach, Estupinan revealed that he doesn't extensively study his opponents, preferring to let his team handle tactical preparations while he focuses on his destructive strengths.

"I never review my opponents. My brother and my trainer review them. They have told me that he's a good kicker. I'm ready. I'm also an excellent kicker, and I'm also a kickboxing-style fighter. So let's hope there's a good war and that he doesn't end up knocked out too quickly," Estupinan said.

Anticipating a more tactical approach from the speedy Naito, Estupinan promises to pursue his opponent relentlessly, regardless of what gameplan the Japanese fighter employs.

"[Naito] kicks fast, but he's not a puncher like me who always looks for the knockout. Rather, he always looks for points. Let's hope that he doesn't run from me because I'll have to chase him like a lion, like a tiger hunting its prey," the Colombian said.

Estupinan is targeting another lightning-fast finish, similar to the memorable 27-second knockout he achieved in his promotional debut.

"I have this mentality that I think he will fall in the first round. I'll start the fight explosively, and let's hope that he is also an explosive fighter so that we make an excellent show," Estupinan said.

With his perfect record intact and his confidence at sky-high levels, Estupinan maintains an unwavering winning mentality that refuses to acknowledge defeat as a possibility.

ONE Fight Night 32 will be broadcast live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Select 2 at 6:30 a.m. India Standard Time (IST) on Saturday, 7 June.
