ONE Strawweight champion Jarred Brooks feels that Alex Pereira would be a better fit in ONE Championship when compared to the UFC.

Brooks expressed his opinion through Twitter the other day and noted that the Brazilian could be a three-sport champion if he joins ONE Championship.

“Just imagine if Alex pereira fought in @ONEChampionship? He could be a multi world champion in three different sports . One just is ahead of the game and not getting recognition. Y’all are high if you are not watching one championship,” Brooks noted.

The American is someone that has competed in UFC, Bellator and ONE Championship. He has been unstoppable after joining ONE Championship and became the ONE Strawweight champion recently defeating Joshua Pacio.

Pereira, on the other hand, suffered a loss in the UFC 287 main event when he was knocked out by Israel Adesanya. This was the first loss for Pereira against Adesanya and after the fight, he revealed that he would be moving to the Light Heavyweight category to avoid drastic weight cut.

ONE Championship, interestingly has Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Submission Grappling categories alongside the MMA fights. The promotion also has champions crowned across multiple disciplines.

One of the most notable names to enjoy success across multiple disciplines is Stamp Fairtex. Stamp was the Kickboxing and Muay Thai Champion in ONE Championship and recently, she won the ONE Atomweight Grand Prix as well.

Alex Pereira moving to ONE Championship would open doors for some exciting bouts including Alex Pereira vs. Aung La N Sang, and Alex Pereira vs. Reinier De Ridder among others.
