Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi Looks Back On Stunning Head Kick Knockout At ONE Fight Night 32

Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi made an unforgettable impression in his first U.S. primetime appearance, delivering a spectacular head-kick knockout that sent shockwaves through the Muay Thai world at ONE Fight Night 32.

The 23-year-old Thai fighter needed just 52 seconds to finish #5-ranked flyweight contender Nakrob Fairtex in the main event on 7 June, creating what many are calling a Knockout of the Year candidate at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium.

"It was totally unexpected, and I'm very happy about it. I didn't think that I would get the knockout that quick," Jaosuayai said after the event.

The finish came after careful preparation and tactical analysis. Jaosuayai revealed he had studied Nakrob's defensive patterns extensively before the fight.

"I've studied him from his previous fights, and normally when he walks in, his right guard falls, so it's a bit low. I thought that would be an opening that I could use. So, when he came in like that, and I saw the opening, I led with my punches, and then I connected with a high kick onto his neck," the Thai star said.

After scoring an early knockdown within 30 seconds, Jaosuayai capitalised on the opening he had identified, landing the devastating left head kick that ended the contest in dramatic fashion.

The victory caps an impressive journey for the Sor Dechapan product, who earned his six-figure ONE Championship contract through nine impressive performances at ONE Friday Fights. Now boasting an 8-2 record in ONE and riding a five-fight winning streak, he's positioned himself as a serious contender in the flyweight Muay Thai division.

"For 16 years, I've been on this journey, and I've been fighting, and I've been training really hard. I am proud of myself. I'm so thankful that I did not give up," Jaosuayai stated.

With his star power significantly elevated, Jaosuayai is already being linked to potential blockbuster matchups, including a possible clash with former champion and #1-ranked contender Rodtang Jitmuangnon.

"I never turn down my opponents. So if the chance comes, I will definitely catch it," Jaosuayai finished.
