Israel Adesanya Spotted Training with WWE Star

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya has been spotted hitting the training center recently, as he gears up for his comeback after his title loss last year. Joining him in the ring is none other than WWE Superstar Dakota Kai, who is also nursing her own injuries.

Amidst his hiatus from the octagon, Adesanya has been diligently working on his recovery and training for his next fight. The UFC standout was recently seen training alongside Dakota Kai, a close friend of WWE star Bayley, who has been sidelined due to injury for quite some time.

The sighting of Adesanya and Kai training together was shared by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Wrestling on February 18th, who posted a picture of the duo at the training center. The image was accompanied by the caption, “Dakota Kai and Israel Adesanya,” hinting at the collaborative effort between the two athletes.

Both Adesanya and Kai are currently recuperating from injuries, with Adesanya's last fight taking place on September 10th at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. Kai, on the other hand, has been sidelined since May of last year due to a torn ACL.

Notably, both athletes hail from New Zealand and have ties to the combat sports industry. Kai, whose sister is a member of City Kick Boxing in Auckland, brings a wrestling background influenced by her connection to combat sports, adding an intriguing dimension to their joint training sessions.
