Indian boxing is set to witness a landmark moment as Asad Asif Khan becomes the first Indian boxer to compete in the co-main event of a world-class Matchroom Boxing card. Khan will take on former two-time world champion Josh Warrington in a super featherweight clash on Saturday, April 19, at the Canon Medical Arena in Sheffield, United Kingdom.

The event, headlined by Dalton Smith vs. Mathieu Germain in a super lightweight bout, will be streamed live worldwide on DAZN.

Asad Khan’s historic appearance follows his breakout performance against Irish Olympian medalist Michael Conlan, a bout that elevated his international profile.
