George Jarvis Completes Rungrawee Sweep With Brutal Second-Round KO

The rematch was nearly two years in the making. On 26 June at Lumpinee Stadium, ONE Fight Night 44: Jarvis vs. Rungrawee II broadcast live on Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime from Bangkok, Thailand — and George Jarvis made sure it ended the same way as the first: with Rungrawee Sitsongpeenong on the canvas.

Rungrawee came with a different plan this time. A first-round kick-punch counter sent Jarvis down for an eight-count — a moment that briefly threatened to rewrite the script. It didn't. Jarvis stood straight up, found his shot, and the left punch that followed buckled the Thai's legs and set the tone for what came next.

Round two belonged entirely to the Briton. Clinch elbows, a short knee, relentless forward pressure — and then a left hook that took Rungrawee's legs completely away at 1:59. Two fights. Two finishes. Both men had challenged Regian Eersel for the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title. Now Jarvis, 29-5, is next in line.

Lucas Gabriel is 11-1 and undefeated in ONE Championship — and his split decision over former ONE Lightweight MMA World Champion Ok Rae Yoon may be the result that finally puts him at the front of the title queue. Gabriel threatened a rear-naked choke in round two and trapped Ok inside a twister before controlling round three with takedowns and back pressure.

The win over a former world champion changes the conversation. Gabriel has been submitted grappling dominance in the making — every appearance he has shown a different submission threat, a new creative angle. At 26, with Christian Lee's lightweight belt in his sights, Friday's performance felt like a statement rather than just a result.
