Jun Calls for Rematch Against Mohammad Fakhreddine Following BRAVE CF 96 Loss

BRAVE Combat Federation Light Heavyweight Champion Erko Jun has issued a direct challenge to longtime rival Mohammad Fakhreddine, signaling a potential rematch between two of the promotion’s most high-profile fighters.

In a recent social media post, Jun was seen staring intently at a poster from BRAVE CF 96—where he suffered a first-round knockout loss to Fakhreddine—accompanied by a short but pointed caption: “This is my motivation. Let’s run it back.”

Fakhreddine remains the only fighter to defeat Jun under the BRAVE CF banner.

Their first bout was one of the most anticipated matchups in the promotion’s history. Jun, already the reigning Light Heavyweight Champion, had dropped down to Middleweight in an attempt to become a simultaneous two-division champion. That feat, however, had only been achieved once in BRAVE CF history—by Fakhreddine himself. On that night in Ljubljana, Fakhreddine returned from a hiatus to deliver a stunning first-round finish, denying Jun’s historic bid.

Now, Jun is seeking redemption.

The timing of Jun’s callout coincides with growing tension in both the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions. Said Maalem, another key figure with ties to both fighters, recently called out Fakhreddine following a majority draw against Kaloyan Kolev at BRAVE CF 97 in Bulgaria.

Fakhreddine has not responded to Jun’s challenge, but speculation continues to build. Fans are left wondering not only if the rematch will happen, but at which weight class the bout would take place.

With BRAVE CF 100 approaching and the promotion celebrating what it has dubbed “The Year of the BRAVE,” the possibility of a blockbuster rematch between Jun and Fakhreddine looms large on the horizon.
