BRAVE Combat Federation's Super Welterweight sensation, Eliezer "King Kong" Kubanza, received a hero's welcome and recognition from dignitaries in his homeland, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), after his remarkable debut at BRAVE CF 72 in Bahrain last month.

During the electrifying BRAVE CF 72 event, Kubanza, based in South Africa, burst onto the global MMA stage with a jaw-dropping head kick knockout of Algeria's Rayan Atmani in the first round of their bout. The spectacular finish instantly propelled Kubanza into stardom, captivating fans worldwide as his viral knockout spread across social media and television screens.

Back in his native DRC and South Africa, Kubanza's victory was met with jubilation as watch parties and celebrations erupted throughout Africa. His BRAVE CF debut not only showcased his skill and dominance but also marked a significant milestone for the DRC as the 82nd nation represented in BRAVE Combat Federation, highlighting the promotion's rapid growth.

Recognizing his exceptional achievement, the DRC government honored Kubanza with an official acknowledgment. Sports Minister Mr. François Kabulo Mwana Kabulo personally commended Kubanza on his performance and posed for a photo with the rising BRAVE CF star.

Before making his mark in professional MMA, Kubanza made waves in the amateur division, securing two IMMAF Africa Open Championship gold medals and capturing multiple promotional belts in South Africa. Notably, he stands as one of the few fighters to have defeated fellow BRAVE CF star and three-time IMMAF Amateur champion Ramazan Gitinov, who boasts an impressive unbeaten record of 31 fights.

With a victorious BRAVE CF debut under his belt, Kubanza is eager to continue his momentum and has expressed his desire to compete on the historic first-ever BRAVE CF event in France scheduled for September.
