Former UFC champion Conor McGregor notes that Nate Diaz is the toughest opponent that he has faced in his career. McGregor revealed the same during a Twitter interaction with his fans and snubbed former UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor fought Nate Diaz two times in the UFC. In their first outing, it was Nate Diaz that came out on top with a submission win. In the second fight, McGregor levelled terms and got a decision victory.
Interestingly, both the fights happened at Welterweight and McGregor had proposed the idea of a trilogy fight at Lightweight. The Trilogy bout, however, did not materialize although both the fighters have expressed their interest in having a third fight.
As for Khabib, he secured a submission win over Conor McGregor in the lone fight the two fighters had. The rivalry, however, was one of the most intense ones in UFC history and broke multiple records.
