Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov, once close friends and training partners, find themselves at odds once again.

Their relationship soured a few years ago when Lobov initiated a lawsuit against McGregor, claiming a share of the profits from the Proper 12 whiskey deal, which reportedly earned McGregor $600 million. The situation escalated when Lobov also filed a defamation lawsuit against McGregor, who responded by challenging Lobov to a fight. McGregor eventually won the defamation case, with Lobov ordered to pay damages, but the legal dispute over the Proper 12 whiskey deal remains unresolved.

On Friday, McGregor took to social media to launch a scathing attack on Lobov, accusing him of dishonesty and cowardice. "Born in Russia, in Ireland on benefits. You rat bastard your country is at war and you are in Ireland hiding claiming benefits and SWEARING ON YOUR CHILD’S LIFE. Your day is coming mark my words," McGregor posted.

He continued with a harsh rebuke, referencing past promises made by Lobov: "'Let me start by saying that I swear on my child’s life I will NOT take a cent out of the whiskey deal!!! That is something I enjoyed doing and the thought of knowing that I helped you with something keeps me warm on the coldest of nights.' Swearing on your child’s life you sick rat cnt. YOU DONE FCK ALL ON MY DEAL YOU F*CKING CLOWN. REST IN PISS."

McGregor ended his tirade with a stark warning: "Rats always get got."

The crux of the Proper 12 controversy centers on Lobov's assertion that he conceived the idea for the whiskey and played a significant role in its initial development. In December, Lobov released text messages purportedly from McGregor, suggesting an intention to share a portion of the company with him.

Meanwhile, McGregor's efforts to return to the UFC octagon continue. He was slated to headline UFC 303 against Michael Chandler this weekend but withdrew due to an injury. No definitive timeline has been set for his return to competition.
