Double Champion Christian Lee ready for Saygid, Murad and Roberto Soldic

Christian Lee performed another tremendous performance on November 19 to prove that he is unquestionably one of the best pound-for-pound MMA fighters on the planet.

At ONE on Prime Video 4, the ONE Lightweight World Champion stood up to battle Kiamrian Abbasov for the ONE Welterweight World Title, beating the odds to win gold in a second division.

"The Warrior" had to suffer an exceptionally difficult first round in which he was severely injured by the defending king, but he shown his passion and endurance to achieve a spectacular comeback victory and make history.

To govern a single category is a difficult assignment, but Christian Lee is certain that he can accomplish so at both lightweight and welterweight.

Obtaining both belts has long been a goal for the Singaporean-American superstar, but that is not the end of the road for "The Warrior."

Now, he aims to keep his double-championship for as long as possible by defeating the top rivals in both weight divisions.

Speaking of his potential rivals, Lee said that he is ready to fight the top contenders in the division.

“I feel like it’s really clear who the next opponents are in front of me. I think that out of everybody, the three people I’m looking forward to fighting would be [lightweight] Saygid Izagakhmaev, [welterweight] Murad Ramazanov, and [weltwerweight] Roberto Soldic. Right now, I think those are the three top guys within the two divisions, and I’m looking forward to facing one of them. It doesn’t matter who first,” he said in the interview.

He also added that he does not want to play matchmaker.

“For me, I try not to play matchmaker too much. I just go in there and do my job so whoever they throw at me I’m ready,” Lee concluded.
