BRAVE Combat Federation made a historic debut in Georgia with BRAVE CF: GEORGIA VS. THE WORLD, held at the Tbilisi New Sports Palace.
In partnership with Georgian Fighting Championship (GFC), the event headlined the fifth edition of BRAVE International Combat Week, delivering a spectacular night of international MMA action with nine intense bouts — capped off by a World Championship showdown.
In the main event, Georgian star Rauli Tutarauli made history by becoming the first Georgian fighter to win BRAVE CF gold, defeating Dutch contender Pieter “The Archangel” Buist via unanimous decision to claim the Interim Lightweight World Title. Tutarauli used his relentless wrestling and pressure to dominate the five-round battle, nearly finishing the fight in Round 2 with a tight arm-triangle choke. He now sets his sights on a unification bout with reigning champion Abdisalam Uul “Omok” Kubanychbek.
In the co-main event, Lasha Abramishvili delivered a stunning first-round TKO victory over No. 3-ranked bantamweight contender Khurshed Nazarov of Tajikistan, igniting the Tbilisi crowd with his explosive finish at 4:59 of Round 1.
The event also showcased Georgia’s emerging MMA talent. Mukhrani Narsavidze secured a quick submission win over Gheorghe Gritko with an arm-triangle choke, while Luka Giorgadze dominated Aruba’s Reymond Jowett to earn a unanimous decision in his BRAVE CF debut.
Pakistan’s rising star Ismail “The Volcano” Khan extended his BRAVE CF winning streak to three with a first-round rear-naked choke against Elmir Jafarov.
Kazakhstan’s Timur Kuanysh impressed with a decision victory over Dimitri Bolkvadze, while Borena Tsertsvadze delivered a statement for Georgian women’s MMA by submitting Khanim Bashirova in Round 1 with a scarf-hold armlock.
In other action, Badri Focxverashvili dominated France’s Levy Carriel to earn a clean unanimous decision, and Nikolay Atanasov opened the night with a hard-fought split decision win against Adigozel Guliyev.
