BRAVE Combat Federation has announced the main and co-main events for BRAVE CF 93, set for April 18 in Zhengzhou, China. The event will mark the start of the organization’s “Year of the BRAVE” campaign.
In the main event, former lightweight title challenger Raul Tutarauli of Georgia will face former interim title contender Olzhas Eskaraev in a high-stakes clash. Tutarauli previously challenged reigning champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek at BRAVE CF 87 but fell short via decision. He rebounded with a first-round submission win on the regional circuit and now looks to secure another shot at the title.
Eskaraev is on a two-fight winning streak since his interim title loss to Kubanychbek at BRAVE CF 59. He most recently defeated Chinese standout Zehao Zhang at BRAVE CF 84 and now aims to strengthen his case for a championship opportunity.
In the co-main event, Chinese star Jiniushiyue will take on Tajikistani wrestling specialist Khurshed Nazarov in a bantamweight matchup. Nazarov, who suffered his first career loss against current BRAVE CF bantamweight champion Nicholas Hwende, seeks to bounce back. Jiniushiyue, coming off a two-fight winless streak, looks to regain momentum after a dominant seven-fight winning run.
BRAVE CF 93 marks the organization’s return to China following its debut event, BRAVE CF 84, in 2024. The event, held in collaboration with YFU, will be BRAVE CF’s first event of the 2025 calendar after a record-breaking 2024.
