The anticipation for the upcoming BRAVE CF 82 clash between Ramazan Gitinov and Prince Lolia has reached fever pitch, spurred by a recent social media outburst from Lolia.
Gitinov recently disclosed that he is undergoing training alongside MMA icons and founding members of KHK MMA, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev, in preparation for his bout at BRAVE CF 82. The Bahraini star emphasized the caliber of his training partners and his eagerness to demonstrate his progress against Lolia during the event in Mauritius.
However, Lolia was quick to criticize Gitinov's training update. In a series of fiery social media posts, the Congolese fighter dismissed Gitinov's association with Khabib and Islam, derisively labeling him a 'boring fighter' devoid of performance accolades.
"Training with Khabib and Islam is fine, but you're not them. Your name is Ramazan 'Boring Fighter'. A fighter who just hugs, like a clown. I'm coming for you," Lolia asserted.
Lolia further lambasted Gitinov's fighting style, referencing a past defeat at the hands of Eliezer Kubanza during amateur competition.
"Since Kubanza knocked you out, that loss still haunts you. You love that uppercut, don't you? You've never dropped anyone in your entire career. Shame," Lolia added.
The verbal sparring intensifies the narrative surrounding their impending BRAVE CF 82 showdown, as Lolia aims to replicate Kubanza's success and hand Gitinov his first professional MMA loss.
Gitinov, eager for redemption, acknowledged that a rematch with Kubanza is unfeasible due to weight class disparities. However, he could seek retribution by prevailing over Kubanza's protege, Lolia, at BRAVE CF 82.
The heightened tension between the fighters has significantly raised the stakes for their clash, injecting added drama into the buildup to BRAVE CF 82.
