BRAVE CF 80 Caps Off 2023 with Epic Bantamweight Title Rematch

BRAVE Combat Federation is set to close the curtain on an exceptional 2023 with a colossal showdown as Bantamweight world champion Jose Torres gears up to defend his title against Nkosi Ndebele in a highly anticipated rematch. The bout will serve as the main event of BRAVE CF 80, marking the organization's final event of the year, scheduled for December 15 in Bahrain.

BRAVE CF 80 will conclude the historic BRAVE International Combat Week, a 10-day combat sports extravaganza that also features BRAVE CF 77, BRAVE CF 79, and the IMMAF Asian Championships.

"Shorty" Torres, a prominent figure in BRAVE CF, enters the cage to defend his Bantamweight title after securing a razor-thin split decision victory over Ndebele in their last encounter in Colombia. Torres, a former champion in Titan FC and holder of two amateur championships under IMMAF, now stands as the Bantamweight world champion, realizing his full potential.

In the initial title fight, Nkosi Ndebele voiced frustration after Torres was awarded the victory by two of the three judges. What began as a friendly rivalry turned into a heated conflict, with Ndebele challenging Torres' legitimacy as a champion, dubbing him a "fake champion."

The upcoming rematch promises to settle the score, as both fighters showcased exceptional skills during the previous 25-minute encounter. Ndebele initiated the action with early front kicks and straight lefts, while Torres employed his judo techniques to take the fight to the ground and nearly secured victory on multiple occasions. In the co-main event, fans can anticipate the long-awaited return of BRAVE CF legend Jarrah Al-Silawi. The former Super Welterweight world champion is set to face Nenad Avramovic at Middleweight, marking a special feature bout for the best Arab fighter of all time as he returns home.
